Dakota began
her career as an actress at the age of 6 through small roles in a slew of hit
television series aired between 2000 and 2001. This past year she appeared for
the first time on the big screen in Sam melodrama I'm Sam, worn by the tandem
Sean Penn / Michelle Pfeiffer.
Between 2001
and 2002, she played small roles in the thriller Mauvais Piège, with Charlize
Theron, as well as the comedy Fashion Victime, where she played the child
version of Reese Witherspoon's heroine. She is also the cast of a children's
production, adaptation Hansel and Gretel.
But it is the
director and producer Steven Spielberg who discovers it and launches it by
entrusting him with the role of his science-fiction mini-series Disparition.
Aged 8, she is the narrator of the ten episodes and appears in the last four.
